Biography

Fr. Vidoslav Vujasin (Fr. Vido, as he prefers) was born on Vidovdan (St. Vitus Day), and grew up in Germany, in a pious Serbian Orthodox family. He regularly attended the Divine services in Dusseldorf, Germany, where he served as an altar boy from early childhood. Fr. Vidoslav completed the Serbian Orthodox Priest Seminary in Sremski Karlovci, Serbia, in 1998 and returned to Germany to further his education. He studied at the Ludwig Maximilian University in Munich, earning his Master of Divinity degree in Orthodox Theology in 2005. He is fluent in Serbian, German, and English and knows the basics of Russian, Italian, and Greek. He was ordained to the priesthood in 2001 and served parishes in Munich (Germany), Innsbruck (Austria), Portland (Oregon), and some mission parishes in Switzerland and Austria. During his tenure in Austria, Fr. Vidoslav also taught Orthodox religious classes to students in government-run elementary, middle, and high schools. In June 2021, he became the rector of St. Archangel Michael church in Saratoga, California. Fr. Vidoslav is married to Protinica Carolina.
